Before her friends can head off to lunch, Brittney catches up, keeping them back. Jess was out sick, Daryl was running laps for his coach, Crowe was out for his duties, and Geo wouldn't come with so many absentees. So it's just Brittney and their newest member. She grabs them gently by the shoulder. Her eyes are tired from class among other things. She couldn't bear seeing Jess down with a cold as bad as she was. Not to mention the increased bulling issues around the school. She would've been much happier to head back to the garden with her one present friend than be lonely. Despite her attitude, she couldn't stand being alone. She often forgot about said quirk until Jess was gone like this.

Brittney: "Yo, we're going to lunch together, right? You know the others are all out. We could even invite those two guys you hang out with. What did you say their names were? Sol and Hyugo, right?" She smiles one of her cool smirks and holds up a small basket for the two of them to share. They definitely weren't going back to that cafeteria after the tray incident, even if Crowe wasn't stopping them.
