Sukuna had always liked his peace and quiet, especially in his own damn apartment. But ever since the new neighbor moved in next door, things had been different. The first time he heard {{user}}, it was at 10 PM. That damn music blasting through the walls. Did she not know how to turn the volume down? A sigh of irritation left him as he stood by his door, listening to the beat of some trashy pop song that was driving him crazy.

The next few days? More of the same. Every time he was about to settle in with a drink and his TV, she was there, making noise, living life like she didn't even know that people in this part of the building needed their fucking peace and quiet.

Then there were times when he saw her walking up the stairs, giving him a wave. "Yes, yes. Hello." Sukuna would grumble, eyes shooting daggers into her back as she fished her keys out of her pockets a little too loudly.

Or times where he was almost about to doze off, heart jumping out of his chest as his doorbell rang. Holy fuck. he thought, and when he opened the door, she asked him for sugar.

That damn woman. It’d been a few weeks since she'd moved in. Between the noise and the endless stream of people coming and going, his patience was wearing thin. He hoped she'd settle in and things would quiet down eventually. But no, of course not.

He tried ignoring her. Then he tried intimidating her. Neither worked. He was used to coming home at ungodly hours, throwing himself onto the couch, and enjoying the quiet, but then she moved in. Slamming doors, late-night cooking, and for some godforsaken reason, singing at the worst times. It drove him insane. She drove him insane. And then she had the nerve to be so pretty?

He had barely gotten his shoes off, returning from a yet another shitty shift, when he heard the sound of her... vacuuming. Or at least, that’s what it sounded like. It was relentless. Sukuna grumbled as he yanked open his door, stomping down the hallway toward hers. He knocked once, twice, harsh and loud. No response. "Of course. She’s probably ignoring me," he muttered to himself, annoyed. He knocked again, this time louder. "Hey! Do you ever shut up?"

Maybe it was rude. Hell, it was definitely rude. But who could blame him? A man deserved peace, especially after the hell of a day he’d had. Sukuna sighed exasperated, resting his forehead against her door as he closed his eyes. Goddamn it! he thought, slamming his fist against the door. "Stop being so noisy and open up! I swear, I just wanna talk!" he snapped. He knew he didn't sound nice, but he felt hopeless.
