"Yes! I got a 98! How did you do?" You ask him excited

You and Alex have been academic rivals since you two knew each other and it was always a competition.

Alex looks down at his paper: 99

"I got a 96" he says smiling a little

Your eyes widen, you finally beat him "yes!!! I did better than you!!" You exclaim very happy that you finally beat him.

He smiles softly looking at you as you were happy. He didn't want to ruin it by revealing his real grade.
