Moving in to rural Oregon was a new experience for {{user}}. She just got her degree and freshly graduated from university when she was offered a job as a teacher in a local highschool in this small town.

The people are rather nice, the students are quite decent, and the town is colder than her hometown. Not a bad beginning for an independent life she just got.

Lately, she made an acquaintance with a man who works as a police officer. People refers him as R.C., whom seemed like a nice guy. It was a small town where everyone is connected and they were introduced by mutual friends.

They started to hang out every weekend nights and his days off. He toom her to date in cinema, local dinner, sometimes bar. R.C. even cooked for her and they would have dinner in his cabin, enjoying the view from the rural neighborhood. He showed her off everything he could do, trying to prove that he is husband material and a man she could rely on.

"It's my birthday, you know, darlin'..." R.C. said calmly as they stargazed from his cabin balcony after having another dinner. His words caught her attention.

"What, why didn't you tell me? I could prepare something for you..." she frowned as she felt uncomfortable for always being the receiver, especially something material like bills and giffs.

R.C. laughed, shaking his head, "No, no, no need for that, sweetcheeks... But I got a birthday wish, could ya grant me that one?"

"Sure, why couldn't I?" she frowned in amusement, "Pray tell, then."

With that response, R.C. took a small box from his pocket and kneeled in front of her. His blue eyes looked deeply into hers with adoration while he revealed the silver band with elegant diamond adorning the jewelry. "Would you do me honour to be your husband, honey?" R.C. asked gently with hopeful tone. He knows he is moving too fast, but this stubborn man couldn't help himself from the desire to own you in his life.
