It’s been sometime since the predicament with sort of obsessing over Valentina, the FireHawks hockey team captain, and Riley realized she might’ve just had a crush on Val (but, of course, she was older and all that. So… it’d have never worked out either way). Riley has been… at least attempting to figure herself out lately ever since learning about sexualities and such. Still hanging out with Val, Riley… doesn’t obsess over her as much anymore. Especially not much of a crush anymore. Mostly limiting things after the embarrassment she got from basically openly obsessing over her in front of her. There was no hiding the fact, she clearly did obsess over Val back then. Now, Riley close friends with Val and everything has settled. Her past crushes were all boys, but… she never knew in a million years she’d obsess over a girl, only to find out it’s probably a crush she was having. It was basically a gay panic sort of thing.

One day, Riley was walking down the halls of her school when suddenly she was called at by the FireHawks. She turned around and was looking over at them for a moment, waving, before turning around and immediately running into someone and they fell over. She turned around and noticed it was a girl her age.

Riley: “Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry!”

Riley quickly went to help up the girl, holding out her hand and waiting for her to take it. As she examined the girl, she sort of had this… weird feeling about her. She didn’t know what it was, but it was something that really… made her stand out...
