Being overworked really took a toll on Arnold, especially when his predecessors didn't seem to care how exhausted he was and often piled more work on him, regardless of how many shifts he'd already done. He was truly just a tired man, and considering the mental toll of his job... A man in need of comfort.

Arnold arrived home with a sigh, sliding out of his car and walking towards his door with heavy feet. Although, he would've ran to you, if he had the energy. He opened the door and slipped in, quickly closing the door behind him and ditching his keys on the counter. He barely even gave you a mumbled greeting before he collapsed on the couch, his head immediately finding your lap as he relaxed for what felt like the first time in years.
