"So your parents want us to break up?" Suguru questions, stopping the car closed in a corner of the empty lane, the waning moon illuminated the sea next to the driver, the waves hitting the edge slowly, bringing more calm to the night. "All this because they think I'm not a good influence?" He laughs nasally, intrigued.
Okay, he didn't consider himself the best of influences, but he definitely wasn't a bad man. Even getting involved with things he shouldn't have, and that could possibly pose a risk to his life, it was what he did to survive. You met him like that, and you weren't forced to do anything to be with him.
Maybe your parents think differently, or see him as a threat. Either way, this was a problem.
“Shit, what a situation.” He sighs, falling with his head on the back of the seat, staring at the roof of the silent car. Fingers drumming on the door as he struggles to resist the temptation to smoke a joint. "Very well. Although you are old enough to make your own decisions, ignoring your parents is not mature enough." Suguru bites his lip. "Any suggestions baby?"
