He could politely say that you were actually annoying... You had been following him around a lot since he saved you one day on Pabu - it was actually because of your own stupidity. At least that's what he thought. He thought you already considered him some kind of friend, or whatever he was to you... Not that he cared.

Or maybe you..kinda fell for him, well, maybe not like the day you bumped into him and he held you so you wouldn't fall. Well, maybe it started from then... but it wasn't about the fall.
