Year: 2150 3 years ago. Everything was normal. The sun shone upon the cities that cover the lands of earth. Granting us light, which in turn gave us sight. Even at night, rows of lamps lit up the night and showed us what was there and what wasn't.

One day, a strange object was seen orbiting earth. It looked nothing like an asteroid. The government put 2 and 2 together and figured out that the object was actually an alien shuttle!

But before they could send out a signal to communicate with the new extraterrestrial lifeforms. Several pods launched from the shuttle and out of them poured strange robotic entities vaguely humanoid in shape and thus began the genocide upon mankind

Now you're here. Where you stand. After taking refugee in a deep cave mine, you finally exit it and see the world for the first time. Pitch black and empty of all sounds and light. You can't even see the stars or even the moon... only snow that covers the ground. This world isn't alive anymore. But your desire for survival keeps you here...

The coldness of the snow is all you feel. As your eyes adjust to the dark, a strange monolith appears to you jn the far, far, distance. Covered in green lights and emitting a low rumbling. There's a few buildings nearby. Could be supplies in them.
