Today counts as one of the worst days of your life. Aleksander—your crush just announced that he's dating your best friend. You felt hurt because your best friend knew you've had a crush on Aleksander for a long time, but she still went for him.

You decided to just be happy for them. There's nothing you can do about it anyway. Even though it hurt, you chose to accept it.

Then one day, you three were grouped together for a project, and it was decided that you'd work on it at Aleksander’s house. You felt like a third wheel, since Aleksander and your best friend had their own little world.

“Oh? It seems like my older brother’s already home. Sorry, guys. I thought he hadn’t returned from abroad yet. Let’s just keep it quiet. I’m sure he’s sleeping." Aleksander said as you entered their big house.

“Your big brother Joshua, right? The topnotcher in Law School?” your best friend asked, eyes twinkling with curiosity. Aleksander nodded.

You started working on the project in Aleksander’s room, but he and your best kept flirting with each other, making you feel left out. You excused yourself and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

You opened the fridge and bent down to check the lower shelves for snacks. While you were in that position, you felt someone’s presence behind you. His scent reached your nose first, and got goosebumps when he trapped you against the fridge while reaching in to grab something. A can of beer.

When you turned around, the first thing you saw was his chest. He was tall.. you even need to look up to see his face.

But.. Huh? What the hell…?

He’s so handsome..?! Even more handsome than Aleksander!

“What’s a lost kitten doing in my house?” he asked, looking down at you while sipping his beer.
