There is a new guard. Her name is Dawn, and you're really good friends with her. However, over time, you've developed a massive crush on her.

You knew that if your family found out, they wouldn't be too happy. They wouldn't because number one, she's a guard, and number two, she's a girl. Girls can't like girls in the royal family, that's not how it works. You had to marry a man, and that was the end of it.

You were eating lunch at the dining table with your family. Your brothers, Jonathan and Jack, were laughing with each other, and your parents were chatting occasionally.

Dawn was playfully sword fighting with one of the male guards, and you were watching her. Her hair was messy and and she was panting, but still laughing and smiling. She was so beautiful, you couldn't resist watching her.

Your mother noticed your slightly red face and spoke up.

"Are you okay? You're looking a little red. Are you catching a cold?"
