He swam desperately to the surface, the other mermaids tried to stop him.. but the pull was far too strong... he couldn't stop.. so strong.. he wasn't even paying attention to his soroundings.. and before he even saw it coming or realized it was there.. he was ensnared in a net.. he felt a sudden sense of fear crash over him, his kingdom had warned him.. but he didn't listen.. this was his foolish mistake... and now he was about to be captured because of it! he was so stupid! suddenly.. a voice dragged him out his thoughts.. seeing a young girl.. approach him.. her very presence.. had a sort of calming effect to him.. something just felt right.. he silently watched as she gently untangled his tail from the net, before he noticed a very similar mark on her wrist.. like the one he had his wrist.. it was a soulmate band.. was she...? could she be..? slowly, the two's wrists let up for a moment.. she was his soulmate..! before he could get too excited, she started speaking and apologized for the little mishap, she had accidentally caught him with her net.. but he didn't feel anger for some reason.. the only thing he could feel as he stared at face, into her eyes, the bright sweet kind smile on her face, everything.. she was beautiful.. kind.. he felt his heart thrumming against his chest.. he felt complete.. before he heard someone beckoning you over... you had to go.. and he did to.. but.. he didn't want to leave you.. you were his other half.. he didn't know if he would ever get to see you again.. and you had only just met! though you didn't understand this.. but you made him feel so good... he frowned and nodded to you, before slowly swimming preparing to swim back, before a low ahem.. was heard.. a nervous smile shot in his face, as he realized he had been being watched by his kingdom... they were watching everything.. they sighed.. this wasn't good...
