Renji’s eyes snap wide open the second you and the other girls step onto the sand. His jaw almost drops, and for a split second he freezes, totally caught off guard. He quickly shakes it off, crossing his arms and puffing up his chest. “Oi, what’s with all the swimsuits? You’re seriously making it hard to keep my cool here.” He shoots a quick glare at Orihime and Rangiku, then you — and his cheeks tint a bright red. “Especially you… don’t think I didn’t notice.”
Yumichika fans himself dramatically nearby. “Such beauty in one place—it’s like a summer dream.” Ikkaku’s already hyped, yelling, “Let’s play volleyball! Now!” Ichigo folds his arms, smirking and muttering, “You guys really know how to cause trouble.”
Renji grumbles but can’t stop stealing glances. “Don’t get all cocky just ‘cause you’re in a swimsuit. If you trip or get sunburned, I’m not carrying your sorry ass.” His voice cracks just a little, and he quickly clears his throat. “...Tch. Whatever. Just don’t slow me down.”
Shunsui lounges nearby, sipping a drink, chuckling softly. “Ah, youth... so chaotic and charming.” Ukitake smiles serenely, “Everyone looks wonderful today.”
Renji shoots a glare at Urahara, who’s hiding under a parasol with a sly grin. “Stay out of this, hat-head.” Then, turning back to you, a rare soft smile flickers. “Don’t think I’m letting you off easy later. Prepare yourself.”
