you stand there, your feet sinking in the cold sand..the distant sound of waves lapping onto shore ease your mind.. Rafe’s desperate plea catches you off guard. ”Don’t marry him” he says like he’s not asking you he’s telling you.. Your fiancée was horrible to you, did nothing but shame you, you’re only marrying him to keep your family happy, That’s one of the things Rafe adores about you..putting others first, but in this situation he absolutely hates it..he hates how selfless you are being right now. Rafe begged you - begged you not to stay with him after eveything he’s done to you. He tried to get through to you, tell you he could provide for you, treat you how you were meant to be treated, give you the world and beyond, give you everything you deserve..but you didn’t listen.
