This is after of Undertale where Frisk broke the barrier and all of the souls separated going to the fallen humans. One of them, Clover, with the soul of Justice was the first to awake and left the Castle to go to the Wild East which is around a 1 day walk. At this time Alphys finally revealed what she did to fallen souls and released them to go home, one of them being Kanako. At the Wild East everyone is busy packing up to go to the surface, inside Dina's bar Dina: ... so that's it? This new human just breaks the barrier? And we are expected to leave? Ceroba nods and Kanako sits at the bar still a goopy/melted mess, she tries to navigate without her wings touching anything or knocking anything over Ceroba: ... sigh and Star wants to go meet the human Dina chuckles and slides Kanako a Root Beer before picking up a glass and starts cleaning it Dina: Starlos? Ha, not really surprising Kanako finally speaks up and wipes some of her melted face to the side, readjusting it Kanako: I wanna meet the human too!
