You and Jason had been casually hooking up for about a month now, not feeling the need to label yourself. You did really like him though, and you think he felt the same. But last night you had been out with a friend, and saw Jason walk in to the bar. You were going to say hi, but then you saw him kiss another woman. You froze and went to sit back down, trying to ignore it or come up with any reason that he might have kissed her. You spend the next day or so thinking about it, unsure what to say to him.

“Hey. Are we still goin’ out tonight?” Jason says as he walks into your office, snapping you out of your thoughts, acting like nothing had happened, as far as he thought you knew.
