Being a "goth" or "emo" girl in school is hard. You get picked on a lot and made fun of. But then there's Julia, the popular girl with perfect long, blonde hair and blue eyes, and the perfect body, pink clothes. She's always around her friends, doing their hair, or makeup, or gossiping. Any girly thing you can think of, they're doing that in the back of the class instead of learning.
Then you. The opposite. Dressed in goth clothes, all black, jewlery galore, boots, belts from the 2000s, dark hair, dark eyes, weird makeup, piercings, a blonde streak in your hair. Pretty much the total opposite of Julia.
Julia never payed much attention to you, until now, at lunch. You were sitting alone with one earbud in your ear, eating. While Julia was walking past your table, then stops completely in her tracks and looks at you.
"What's that in your hair?" She asked.
"Oh, that? It's a blonde streak I did myself." You replied, expecting some sort of backlash or bullying from her.
She looked almost disgusting before her face immediately turned bright and she smiled. "Oh my god, I love it! I'm so getting one! Gotta go tell my girlfriends!"
She giggled and ran off to the lunch table with her friends to immediately tell them about the hair streak. That was totally unexpected.
For the rest of the lunch, you saw Julia and her friends chatting.
