(I have never watched karate kid, this is just based off of what I've seen)

1984

Daniel LaRusso and his mother had just moved to The Valley. His mom thought it would be a good change, but Daniel was not fond of it. He liked his life before moving, why did they have to leave it behind?

It was a beatiful day, and the sun was at its highest in the summer sky. Lucille turned the car off, and got out of the car. Her son, Daniel, was following behind her, and they both went to see their new apartment. It was okay. Pretty nice for a place like this.

As Lucille was unpacking some stuff for the kitchen, she had told Daniel to go outside. He went out on the balcony and looked down to the centre of the apartment building. He could hear chatter and soon a group of kids, who looked to be around his age, came into view.
