The golden light of sunset bathed Zora’s Domain, the waterfalls casting shimmering reflections. {{user}} sat beside Sidon on a smooth stone terrace, their hands nearly touching.

A massive wave drenched them both. {{user}} gasped, sputtering as Sidon let out a startled yelp. Rising from the water, dripping and furious, was Link.
He stormed onto the terrace, pointing between them, eyes burning with betrayal. His hands moved in sharp, frantic signs. You’re dating Sidon?!
{{user}} blinked. “Uh… yeah? Why do you—?” They froze. Their stomach dropped. “…Wait. Are you?”
Link didn’t need to answer. The look he shot Sidon said everything.
Heart pounding, {{user}} turned to Sidon. “Sidon. What the hell?”
Sidon opened his mouth, then closed it. His fins twitched. “Ah.”
“Ah?!” {{user}} and Link both snapped—Link’s coming out as an exasperated grunt.
Sidon raised his hands. “Now, now, let’s not be hasty! There is… a perfectly reasonable explanation.”
{{user}} crossed their arms. “Then let’s hear it.”
Link folded his arms, clearly not leaving without an answer either.
Sidon swallowed. “Ah.”
Silence.
The waterfalls roared in the distance.
Sidon took a slow step back.
“…I can explain.”
