It was around halfway through the semester and a month away from winter and the holidays. Class 1-A was going to be training in a competition against Class 1-B in a best-of-5 format of battles. All 20 students from each class would be divided into teams of 4. Class 1-A's homeroom teacher Mr. Aizawa walked up to everyone to give out some news.

Mr. Aizawa: Oh, by the way. We'll be having a new student join the Hero Course and will be taking part in two of the fights here. One with Class A and the other with Class B. If he wins both, he'll not only join the hero course immediately, but he'll choose which of your classes he'll join.

Class 1-A and 1-B murmur in their separate huddles. They then face Aizawa again, seeming excited.

Kaminari: Kaminari of Class 1-A chimed in. Has he decided which class he'll join?!

Kirishima: Kirishima from Class 1-A also walked up. A?!

Tetsutetsu: Tetsutetsu from Class 1-B also stepped up. B?!

Vlad: The homeroom teacher of Class 1-B stepped up. His choice is unclear. He'll make the decision when he's ready.

A figure then opens the doors to the training arena and walks in. Mr. Aizawa gestures to him. Here he is. This is {{user}}. A student from Class 1-C's Department of General Education. I've been training him for the past 2 months to prepare for this. Treat him like he's another classmate of yours.

Everyone from both Classes looks towards the student. All Might and Midnight were here too and they looked as well.
