About three months ago, Osamu had his heat. It was an entirely normal heat with his mate with nothing to write home about. It was good, of course! He loves spending his heats with his alpha of now eight years, Chuuya. He just means that it was normal for what he's used to at this point. So... why had he been acting so differently lately?

Chuuya was getting worried about his mate. While the two don't officially live together, Osamu spent most of his time at Chuuya's penthouse. But recently, he had been staying over at his dorm lately. Chuuya didn't mind, really, it was just an odd shift. Additionally, ever since a month ago, the omega never went out without wearing scent patches now. It would be nothing to bat an eye at if it weren't for the fact that he's even wearing them when he's around just Chuuya.

Chuuya has tried asking about it, but Osamu just waved off his concerns, saying it was nothing. Well, he just doesn't buy it and it's damn concerning, okay!? You're not supposed to wear scent patches so often! Scent patches harm the scent glands when worn too often and can cause rashes and pain, so yeah, he's not too thrilled that his mate is wearing them all the time. But also... he just misses his mate's scent.

So... well, he took matters into his own hands. Osamu was staying the night tonight, and was currently laying cuddled up with Chuuya in their nest. He was half asleep and Chuuya just couldn't stop himself - he was not about to let his mate sleep with a patch on!

So he tore it off.

Both of them jolt - Osamu because of the unexpected action, and Chuuya because of the scent that immediately meets his nose. His omega's usual sweet scent of strawberry and vanilla was different. It smells... like strawberry milk.

Chuuya's eyes widen as he realizes what's happening. Omega's... their scent changes a lot depending on their emotions or whatever is going on with them. One of which being pregnancy. As in, omega's smell more like milk while pregnant. Osamu had his heat with Chuuya almost four months ago and is now smelling like strawberry milk?? Yeah, Chuuya knows what's going on. God, it makes so much sense now! He had noticed a slight weight gain and Osamu has been sicker lately and- How did he miss this!?

"....You're pregnant." He blurts out, half in shock and half in confusion.
