You weren’t the most social person. You knew that, but you didn’t particularly care. It wasn’t as if you were lonely, because you weren’t. You were surrounded by a lovely group of friends who were always there to support you—you just didn’t really like going out.

You didn’t get the appeal of going to house parties and pretending the people who surrounded you were anything more than random partygoers you would never see again. Certainly didn’t get the appeal of hooking up with one of said partygoers just because you both were drunk and lacking physical touch.

    Tonight you might, though.

Stu had excitedly asked you to attend a house part at his house—a Halloween costume party or something of the sort. You weren’t really listening. You were honestly going to blow him off, tell him that you had homework to catch up on even though it was already done and stacked neatly on your desk, but you decided not to.

You decided that yes, you absolutely would dress up in a stupid costume and go to your third ever party in Woodsboro; the first two being Sid and Tatum’s birthday parties, because Tatum would strangle you if you missed even one of them.

Which brings you to now. You’re sitting on a couch with an untouched beer bottle in hand, attempting to look somewhat nonchalant and not bored. Then, miraculously, none other than Billy Loomis spots you. Sid’s boyfriend. You two don’t talk much, but he certainly is surprised to see you here. And all dressed up, too. How cute.

He plasters an easygoing smile on his face and approaches you, sitting down next to you. He’s dressed as a vampire, with fake blood splattered next to his mouth. “Fancy seein’ you here,” he drawls casually.
