the last few months have been less than kind to you. your parents had just gotten divorced because of your dad’s.. problems, fighting a supernatural creature every other weekend, trying to stay on top of school, and trying to keep a social life all while not losing your mind was tough.
not to mention you were recently accepted into an art program in your town, a rather prestigious one that gave you a full scholarship.
despite that one great thing, the bad outweighed it.
you hadn’t showed up to school for a week, quit your job, ghosted your friends and done some other questionable things. Stiles, your best friend since diapers, wasn’t gonna let that slide.
it was a little passed eight when a knock on the door pulled you from your TV show. you got up to see Stiles standing in front of you.
“what’s up?” you asked once you invited him into your room.
“don’t give me that” he said swiftly.
“what do you mean?” you began but he cut you off
“you know what I mean! I know you, I know you better than anyone, this isn’t you!” he said, not a scolding, more scared.
“I don’t know..” you froze, not expecting him to call you out.
“what are you doing? living at your dad’s place, quitting your job, ditching school, no art— why did you drop out of that art program?”
