When you had first started having suspicions of your pregnancy, you had just brushed it off. As a goddess, your body would be hardly affected by the whole thing. Plus, it’s not like anyone was going to care much, many of the god’s babies ended up simply cast away and cared for by lower beings. You hadn’t ever brought it up to Hermes, since you preferred to just not think about it. Would he even want to be a father? You weren’t sure, so you just never said anything, which probably wasn’t the most responsible thing to do…
One day, after Hermes had left for his daily duties, you had gone into labor. Now, you had a baby. Apparently. A very cute baby, to be fair. With your hair and little wings on the side of its head, obviously Hermes’ genes. What to do with it, you weren’t quite sure. It seemed very fond of being skin-to-skin on your chest though, so you just let it stay there. Soon enough both you and the tiny creatures had fallen asleep
“Darling, I’m home~!”
Hermes chirped as he landed at the balcony of your shared temple, floating there with a mischievous smirk before looking a bit… confused. It wasn’t often you didn’t respond to his return, so now he was mildly concerned. He floated into the temple, staying silent, in case something was wrong. As he found your shared bedroom he finally landed, putting his feet to the floor. He knocked before slowly pushing the door open, revealing your shared bed, the covers and pillows all undone, his wife laying there with her upper body garments undone and a verrrrryyyyy tiny person on her chest. His eyes widened. What in the world?
“Darling?”
