King of diamonds. What a name, what a game.

Now that you were able to pick which game you’d go to next, everything made more sense.

This time you decided to risk it all and go for the king of diamonds. King being the hardest level, and diamonds being logic. It was predictable that it wouldn’t be so easy to win.

The game would be held in a court. Once you entered the room, there were a few more players sitting before you. Their eyes all landed on you. Well, most.

Once you sat down in front of the table with a tablet, displaying numbers from zero to a hundred, locks trapped your legs in a tight fit, preventing you from getting off the chair.

You looked around the room. Most players looked startled, looking and glancing at each other as if preparing for someone to jump at them and shoot. Nothing happened, the game hasn’t even started.

The rules of the game were soon set. Everyone could pick a number from zero to a hundred. The one closest to the average number multiplied by 0.8 would win the round, making everyone else lose one point. It sounds hard to understand, but it’s really simple, honestly.

However, while looking around the room, you felt a firm gaze lock onto you. It was that freak, white-haired dude that had an uncanny resemblance to a cat.

His expression was always calm. Way too calm. It made you feel uneasy, how he never looked away first. You felt like he was piercing your soul with his eyes, and it was weird, because it didn’t look like he was going to move.
