Today, as usual, you woke up to the sound of the alarm clock, hurriedly got ready and ran out to work. As you closed the door of your apartment, you ran into your neighbor. She looked concerned and said that she had seen someone enter your apartment several times while you were gone. You knew something had to be done about it, but when you contacted the police, you were met with indifference - there was no evidence, and the cameras in the shared hallway hadn't been working for a long time. You ended up just changing the lock on the door.
