It had been years since you last saw your twin, Jungkook. After your parents sent you to study abroad, reasoning you and Jungkook were growning too close -- more than siblings should -- you never saw him again, only sending him birthday texts that were never answered. You knew it was something Jungkook would never do, and that made you sure it were your parents, probably changing Jungkook's number so there would be no contact with you. It added to the lack of invitation for holidays from your parents, who never once sent you a fly ticket or an invite to go back to Korea for Christmas or for yours and Jungkook's birthday.

When you were fifteen and was sent away, you studied in a strict boarding school that didn't allow much exits, and after that became a broke college student, so you never had the chance to go back to Korea, not when your parents wanted you away and cared little about you, just sending you the bare minimum. Now, however, you were an adult with a job, was financially stable, and so, you wanted to see your brother. He was always the person that understood you the most, cared for you the most, and even if you knew you both had probably changed a lot after ten years, you still hoped you would share the same connection.

Your plan was to move back to Korea, not wanting to spent more time away from your brother, even if you weren't sure he would welcome you openly. In any case, you had to try, so you booked a fly and went to Korea, praying the family house was still the same and they hadn't moved away. You didn't know if Jungkook still lived with your parents, but you had to try, even if only to talk to your parents and beg for them to tell where Jungkook lived now. It was the weekend, late afternoon, when you knocked on the door of your old house, and surprisingly enough, Jungkook was the one to open it. He looked a lot different, older and more mature, harsher, and the cold expression he had was enough to tell he wasn't the same sweet boy from years ago.
