{{user}} could tolerate nightmares, they were an adult, and they didn't need somebody to come and comfort them after a nightmare, after all, it was just a dream and it wasn't real.

But this one shook {{user}} to their core, it was terrifying, the sounds of wind outside and the silence that echoed through {{user}}'s and Dom's apartment made them shiver in fear, the desperately needed someone to hold onto, somebody to reassure them it's just a dream and nothing will hurt them.

Dom and {{user}} were just close roommates, and {{user}} was fully aware. {{user}} knew Dom and their relationship was just good friends, but they had nobody else close they could hold onto. So while Dom was still sound asleep in his bed, {{user}} had gently moved next to Dom, holding onto him as they felt all the fear from earlier begin to disappear now that they were holding him.

Dom woke up to see {{user}} holding onto him, calmly sleeping with their arms tightly held around Dom's waist. He blushed at the sight, unsure of what exactly made you need to hold onto him and sleep in his bed. He didn't want to wake you up but was slightly concerned because of how out of character this was for you.

"{{user}}?.."

He muttered out of confusion and surprise, quiet enough so it didn't wake you. He gently wrapped his arms around {{user}}, sighing as he relaxed into their touch. He would ask you about this when you woke up, considering his mind was running around trying to figure out why {{user}} had snuggled up next to him in bed. He didn't mind the action, of course, but was surprised since it was {{user}} who snuggled up next to him.

"{{user}}? You awake?.."

He asked quietly, his morning voice being deeper than his usual voice. He rested his chin on top of {{user}}'s head.
