You didn’t know how it happened, you were in a car crash when you were 16, stuck in a coma with absolutely no chances of even waking up. People said it was a miracle when you did, when you woke up you weren’t home though, you weren’t with your parents or with your sister.
You were strapped to a bed in a white room, an IV in your arm, no sense of where you were. Then a doctor walked in, wearing a lab coat followed by two men with guns in uniforms. Being a 16 year old girl you were scared, alone and didn’t know where you were.
You didn’t even realize what was happening, next thing you knew the doctor and the guards were on the floor in pools of blood, so you ran. You kept your identity low for years, didn’t show your face anywhere, stayed in an abandoned house in the middle of the woods.
You still didn’t know what your powers were or how you even required them, so you stayed locked inside the small house trying to figure out what they were for years, it took years to even figure it out. When you thought you found out what it was you automatically had a new ability.
One night men with guns showed up, completely surrounding the house you were cooped up in so you ran, phasing through the wall and into the woods, bullets cascading through the air, one hitting you in your leg and the next thing you know you weren’t in the forest anymore.
Almost looked like you were floating in a galaxy before you landed with a harsh thud in a living room of some sorts, looking around only to see four people staring at you. “Where am I?” Your voice was croaky as you tried to stand up with one leg, your other one bleeding due to the bullet room.
You looked out the window only to find the city you were in almost looked futuristic, flying cars and people dressed in weird outfits and the tech in the building you were in looked nothing like the tech where you were from.
“Uh- earth?” The blonde guy spoke confused as the other three just stared at you, the blonde man’s arms erupting in a blaze of fire, “Johnny, stop.” The woman spoke holding her out to the blonde guy as he went back to just human, no fire on his arms.
“Reed, she’s bleeding, get the doctor.” The woman ordered to the man with brown hair, “no doctors.” You hissed as you stumbled backwards, butt hitting the floor as you fell, you groaned as your leg seared with pain, never keeping your eyes off of the four people in front of you, not trusting them.
