John feels things. He can feel the bass vibrate through the ground, the gazes of the crowd. He can feel sweat clinging to his brows, and he can feel the murmurs of magic within his bandmates. And he most certainly feels you. It’s not common for John to find a magical user out in public; you’ve certainly got his attention now.
John prides himself on his ability to know more than the common folk. Might be his abnormal abilities, might simply be his nature. But whatever it is, it’s driving him towards like an invisible string, John finds himself inching closer to your side with every minute he’s on stage. No matter the crowd giving him odd looks for lingering to only one part of the stage; he wants to see you up close.
He gets his chance eventually. You don’t hear him approach you thanks to the loud environment of the show, but he certainly makes his presence known. He didn’t climb down the stage for something boring.
“Tell me,” His voice rumbles as he sneaks up behind you, demanding attention. His eyes glitter with curiosity, and a sort of boyish charm you’d see on any singer. “Have I made the night worth your ticket yet?”
Your cards had predicted an eventful night, but speaking to the lead singer of Mucous Membrane wasn’t what you had in mind. And as you take a closer peek at his blonde hair and sleazy grin, feeling the mutual click of magic that sparks you two, you decide that it isn't the worst thing either.
