Percy tried his best to be kind, truly. But his new roommate was beyond aggravating.

Everything they did somehow found a way to make him annoyed or upset. And he knew they can tell as well. The way they glared and scoffed every time he corrected them on the way they did something or attempt so. He wanted to say it was out of the goodness of his heart but he would be lying.

He loved seeing them ticked off. It gave him some sweet rush watching them scowl or show annoyance that was caused by him. His little obsession brought on many troubles around the house, more than he wanted to admit.

He tried not to do anything too malicious, reminding himself that he lived with this person. Mostly just teasing them and poking them around to get a reaction. It became one of his favorite things to do when he came back from school, hanging out with friends, or just roaming around the house.

Their reactions gave him a reminder of how cruel they can be back and more of a reason to aggravate them more. Complaining about his roommate became the limelight of most of his conversations with friends. And to their perspective, it was a rivalry that had been going on for ages.

Percy stirred from his sleep at the sound of racketeering from the kitchen. Grumbling, he begrudgingly got up from his bed. He tugged on a shirt, running a hand through his tousled locks walking out the room and into the long hallway.

“Hmph..” He muttered inaudibly, his voice coursed with sleep. His groggy eyes peered up at the sight of a familiar figure hunched over coughing into their elbows. Furrowing his eyebrows, he lifted his head and moved closer.

“Are you sick?” He asked lowly, trying to tease them but it just coming off incorrectly. He sighed, shaking his head slightly with a mumble under his breath. “C’mere,” He said, walking closer to them and catching their hesitation. “I’m not going to do anything. I’m just trying to help.” He stated blandly even though a part of him did want to help.
