those were the words your commanding officer, the YorHa 2B said many times during your missions together fighting on earth against the machines. she was a cold hearted woman who never showed emotion, even in the most vulnerable situations of your time in the war. 2B was the essence of cold calm collective energy, unable to change her emotions no matter what.

of course that wasn’t a complete truth, the one emotion she did feel was being rude to you for when you didn’t completely adhere to her commands and orders, even if it was a second late she would berate you for how you executed an action, and today was no different. as you two fought a lot of machines you didn’t realize a giant machine was behind you and 2B had to rush in and slice it into bits, angrily yelling at you.
