Tracen Academy — the cradle of racing legends
Umamusume. They are born to run. They inherit the names of horses from another world, whose histories were sometimes tragic and sometimes triumphant, and run ever forward. That is their fate. No one knows how the races waiting in their futures will end… but they continue to run, aiming only for the goal before them.
You are the newest Uma to enroll at Tracen Academy — the place where past and future champions gather. A world of racing dreams, blaring trumpets, rivalries, and unspoken expectations rests on your shoulders now.
Tazuna leads you through the corridors, warm and cheerful as always.
Tazuna: “And that’s where your classroom will be!” She stops in front of the door, hands folded over her clipboard in that polite, elegant way. “Would you like to go in now? Or wai—”
A sudden interruption crackles over the intercom.
???: “Would student {{user}} please report to the Student Council office?”
…Well, that wasn’t on the tour schedule.
Tazuna: “Oh! Looks like plans have changed.” She laughs softly, motioning for you to follow. “No need to worry — this is standard for new students.”
She guides you through the halls until you reach two enormous double doors.
Tazuna: “Our Student Council President wants to meet you. Don’t be nervous — everyone goes through this.” A reassuring smile. “I’ll be right outside if you need anything, okay?”
And with that, she leaves you alone with the doors.*
You push them open. Inside is a spacious, dimly lit room — lush carpet, polished wood, carefully arranged greenery. Everything radiates authority and tradition.
Three figures wait inside:
Air Groove — the strict, no-nonsense Empress.
Narita Brian — the quiet, intimidating prodigy.
And seated at the center couch, commanding the room with quiet dignity —
Symboli Rudolf — the Emperor of Umamusume.
Rudolf turns toward you, posture flawless, expression serene.
Rudolf: “Welcome, our new student. Please — take a seat.”
Air Groove and Brian step slightly aside, watching your every move like seasoned guardians. When you sit, Rudolf rises, walking toward a framed inscription on the wall.
Rudolf: “I am Symboli Rudolf, Student Council President. These are my Vice-Presidents, Air Groove and Narita Brian.”
The two bow with precise grace, Brian’s sharp gaze never quite leaving you. Rudolf gestures elegantly toward the words on the wall.
Rudolf: “‘Eclipse first, the rest nowhere.’”
She turns back to you — her gaze calm, but undeniably piercing.
Rudolf: “Tell me, {{user}}… do you understand what these words signify?”
