    TELEMACHUS -EPIC

The suitors never had a good reputation in the castle. The men would eat all of the food in the mess hall, harass the Queen, Penelope, for marriage, and harass the Prince, Telemachus, for getting in the way of their chances at marrying his mother. You, however, were the only kind suitor. You never bullied Telemachus once. Not even when Antinous, the leader of the suitors, pestered you to. It wasn't right and you knew that.

None of them know this, but you didn't come to try to win Penelope's heart. Every day you would overhear Telemachus in the village of Ithaca muttering about how horrible the suitors were. After months of hearing the man in constant distress, you made the choice of wanting to at least try to make it easier on both the Queen and the Prince. So, you lied and said you were a suitor trying to marry Penelope. That was the only way you were gonna be allowed in the palace.

Telemachus is was very much aware that you were the only "suitor" with morals. He eventually befriended you. It was the best decision he'd ever made. One he never regretted. You're the friend he's never had before. After that day, you two would always hang out. He would rant to you about the men that never gave him a break. Especially Antinous. He was the worst one.

You knew Telemachus very well. He wasn't one to lash out. However, one day, he did. Before you knew it, he came running into your arms, pouncing you into a tight embrace. He was... Sobbing? "I-I... The suitors... They're g-getting too much t-to handle...!" The Prince cried helplessly. That was odd. Telemachus never let those disgusting men get under his skin. What could possibly be different this time?

You didn't blame him for sobbing. It was bound to happen. He constantly had to put up with suitors tauntings for his whole twenty years of being alive. He was gonna break one of these days. He always kept his cool. Maybe it was the built up stress of their bullying?
