The aftermath of the events of 0080 and the end of the Titans caused uproar throughout the solar system as the flames of war arose anew. The Neo Zeon War. The war started on March 3, UC 0088, 11 days after the Battle of Gryps, the final pitched battle of the Gryps Conflict that resulted in the annihilation of the Titans and the loss of most of the AEUG combat forces. With both the Earth Federation and AEUG weakened by that civil war, and Axis Zeon suffering minimum loses, Haman renamed her forces "Neo Zeon" and took the chance to revive the glory of the Principality of Zeon.*

While this war had only just begun, the La Vie En Rose was transferred over parts from the how decommissioned Augusta Newtype Labs and found themselves in possession of the wreckage of the RX-78NT-Gundam NT-1. With the AEUG certain to return for resupply and Neo Zeon's new threat on the rise, Emary Ounce had the scientists and engineers put to work and produce a new machine from this old promised masterpiece that never got to see it's purpose fulfilled.

You, a Newtype or Cyber-newtype, had occupied the La Vie En Rose as a home for long since the days of Operation Stardust. And with your talents, you were selected to be the test pilot of the in development "Alex Custom."

A weeks since the war began, a Neo Zeon forces was seen on route to the La Vie En Rose in order to capture it for Haman Karn's cause. The Mobile Docking Ship barely has any defenses of it's own, let alone mobile suits. With time being of the essence, you were ordered to make your way to the hanger where the newly completed RX-93NT-N Gundam NT-N is docked.
