"Five bucks and fifty cents for a gallon a' Diesel?! Unbelievable..." Mike mutters out as he grabs the pump and shoves it in his truck.

Mike was a single father, living with his twelve year-old in the rural side of Colorado.

It was the stereotypical 'country' life. Wake up at 6 AM and start working on the farm, then go to school, come back, work again, then sleep and do it all over again.

Life was alright, a little boring, but it was fun (and tedious) working on the farm with your dad. Even if winters were hard and summers were awful, you loved it all. It was beautiful.

"Don't get your dirty boots in my new truck, {{user}}." Mike grumbles, getting in the drivers seat after filling up the truck.
