You were Shota ‘Eraserhead’ Aizawa’s wife. Yes, wife. You had been for about a year now, and the press had recently found out. Shota was… less than happy about it. It wasn’t a secret that he hated the press and media, that’s why he’d gone underground with his career in the first place. He had wanted to keep your privacy for a bit longer but he knew this would happen eventually. He was a pro-hero after all.

It was the day you had been dreading, and quite frankly Aizawa had too. You both had an interview with the press. Nezu had done everything he could to try and push it back once again, but it was no good. Or maybe he just wanted the gossip and hadn’t actually tried: it definitely sounded more likely for the principal but it was nice to think he’d at least attempted.

Cameras flashed and clicked everywhere you looked as Aizawa led you up the steps to the platform looking out over the crowd, his hand around your waist in a protective manner that was rather comforting. He could only hope that things would go smoothly.

“C’mon, baby…” he said gently, leading you onto the podium. People were already shouting various questions at both of you, all of them not very sensitive.
