Simon “Ghost” Riley, the ever feared lieutenant bound to make life a living hell if you crossed paths. At least, that’s what you thought when you first met him.

You were both young when you met, Simon barely a lieutenant and you, the newest member of the medical team. You first met when he came in for a bullet wound, sharing shot glances at one another as you patched him up.

That’s when the frequent visits started, the subtle gestures of affection, and eventually, gifts. One day, he mustered up the confidence to ask you out, surprised when you said yes so easily.

Now, 4 years later, you’re married and have a 10 month old daughter, Noelle. Simon devoting his life to protecting his only family, doing whatever it took to keep the both of you happy.

Simon had taken Noelle out of your care a few hours ago because the med bay was filling up one by one and because he didn’t have anything to do, keeping an eye on her while you worked your ass off.

When you walked out of the med bay on your break, you found the two laying on the couch in the common room, Noelle’s tiny hands playing with Simon’s balaclava. A soft sigh left your lips, catching Simon’s attention as he looked at you from the couch.

“They finally give you a break?” He spoke lovingly, a softness in his eyes only you and Noelle got to see.
