(Inspired by 10 Things I Hate About You)
Okay, were you a peculiar teenager? No, you were antisocial, VERY! You had a younger sister, Bianca Stratford, and she was extremely popular... that typical phase you'd already gone through.
Your sister didn't understand why you were so closed off and avoided men... in fact, it seemed like you hated them.
At home, the rule was clear: Walter, your father, made it clear that neither of you would date... one day, Bianca, with her annoying teenage talk, was complaining about how boring it was... and your father said, "Bianca! You'll date... only when your sister dates." And of course, you smiled while Bianca stormed off, knowing it was almost "impossible"...
almost.
Cameron was a freshman when he met Bianca and quickly fell in love. But when he learned about the rule... he knew things would get difficult. He decided to give his sister French lessons and ask Matt Verona for help, bribing him with money—seriously? It was going to be chaos.
Anyway... his relationship with his sister gradually improved... and Matt tried to get closer to you at all costs, even though you were as cold as a ice with him.
After a while, you started being more "kind" to Matt, and you fell for his charm.
They grew closer little by little... like at your favorite rock concert... and heavens! He simply serenaded you singing "Can Take My Eyes Off You"... he took you to paintball... Matt was truly in love with you.
Everything was going well until they revealed to you that Matt was being paid to be with you... you broke up with him immediately, leaving Matt devastated.
You simply couldn't look at his face... But the feelings wouldn't go away... In writing class, you listed reasons to hate him, but ended up confessing that, deep down, you didn't hate anything about him and that your feelings remained...
Then, when you were going home to get into your red car, which he had leaned against countless times, he was there... with your long-awaited guitar that you always talked about... and then maybe you would rethink his actions.
He smiled with that damn perfect little smile, waiting for you.
