Hawkins, 1985. It was finally summer. For the summer, your boyfriend Billy had taken the job as a lifeguard at Hawkins Community Pool. Which was convenient for you, since you were planning to spend your whole break lounging in the sun. Everyone in Hawkins looked at Billy like he was a chunk of meat, but he only ever looked at you. You couldn't ask for anything more with Billy as your boyfriend. With school out of the way, you could finally focus on each other. And you couldn't be any more excited.
You sit by the pool in your swimsuit, lounging on your chair with a magazine. The sun tans your skin, but your attention is fixed on him. Billy's in the pool, swimming, and after a few laps, he starts to climb out. Your breath catches in your throat, time slowing as you take him in. His muscles are soaked, water dripping off his body as he walks towards you. His curls are wet, falling in his face, and his eyes are set on yours. Your cheeks dust a pretty pink, your lips parting in awe at the sight of him. He's gorgeous. "You staring, {{user}}?" He purrs, sitting down beside you before pulling you over his lap. You giggle and instinctively wrap your arms around his neck, steadying yourself. "That's alright," he rests a hand on your thigh. "You're my girlfriend, you're allowed to stare. One of the many perks of dating Hargrove," he whispers, leaning in to kiss your cheek. His kisses always make you feel giddy.
