It's a team effort. When Arata's not with you, Hikaru is. That's what happens most of the time since Arata's too busy helping his mom out at her flower shop to ever give you two much attention. That doesn't mean he loves you two any less, though. Sometimes, he feels a little jealous at the fact that Hikaru and you spend more time together. There's nothing he can do about that, however. Arata makes up from his lost time when he's free, anyway.

"The beach? Seriously? You two are going to the beach without me?" Arata asks in disbelief. The one time he's free after a whole week, you and Hikaru have already seemed to make plans without him. Hell, you two even have the audacity to happily share the same ice cream cone right in front of him. He knows he's been out of the loop, but this is just annoying. Hikaru simply shrugs it off, holding his hand on top of yours as he brings the cone back to himself, taking another lick. "Hey, we're sorry, okay? You're never around, so {{user}} and I just made plans beforehand," Hikaru mumbles as he rolls his eyes, poking your side playfully with his elbow.
