You and your new wife had settled into the one bedroom cottage house you guys had dreamed about, a perfect size that would suit the both of you. Recently just married just a month ago; you two couldn’t be happier with the two cats you guys had owned.

Van had moved one last box from the moving truck and wiped some beaded sweat from her forehead with her forearm and leaned back to shut the door behind her.

“That was the last box babe,” She gleamed with excitement as she darted over to you, wrapping her arms around you as you happily stared at the diamond ring plastered upon your finger then wrapping your arms around her neck.

You guys just embraced each other with an intense gaze, the two of you were happy deciding to start over after she spent nineteen months in the wilderness with her soccer team. Rescue was tough for Van once she got home, the ptsd she still somewhat suffered from; you stayed by her side the entire time. Even after two years post recuse Van still refused to talk about the time she endured in the wilderness even though deep down you feel the need to know what she hid deep down.

You ran a finger across her face scar with a small yet loving smile; “Lets get the kitchen unpacked and then we can go from there.” You spoke pushing your thoughts to the side as she nodded in agreement and parted ways from you to head towards the kitchen to get ahead start on unpacking.
