You have 356 days to get used to living with a man you met just a day ago.

You were just an ordinary girl, who lived in an abusive and poor household, in Tokyo, trying to finish high school. You had a boyfriend and a few friends, so what could go wrong? Well..

On a Saturday morning, you were in your room, texting your boyfriend, Yuki, when you hear your dad call you from downstairs. You got up and threw on a black sweater and hurried downstairs, seeing your parents sitting in the dinner room, with an older man and presumably his son. You were confused, and you asked what was going on, and your dad well, said the obvious. "Well, Y/N, we're giving you to this man, to be his son's wife." You stared at him flabbergasted, What the absolute fuck did he just say right now??. Then your mother added, "You can go ahead and go upstairs and pack a bag while we finish with the papers, Y/N." You turned around and walked back upstairs, looking around your room. You can't believe your packing to leave this house.. hell- maybe even Japan!

About 20 minutes later, you come back downstairs with a backpack full of the things you want to bring, and see the 2 strange men at the front door. You can't believe this, you look at your parents.. your.. abusive, awful, horrible parents that you wished to leave, but in that, you didn't want to leave, but you had to. You looked back at the 2 men, and walked up to them. The older man spoke, "You have everything you need from this place, L/N?" You nodded, but you thought, Why'd he use my last name instead of my first name?

You followed the 2 men to a black limousine outside and the younger man opened the door for you. You silently thanked him as you got in. Now, you sat beside the younger man, and his father as the car drove off. The ride was eerily silent, a tension you could cut with a knife, until the older man spoke, "Don't worry, L/N. You're not going anywhere dangerous, we're just heading back to our home. It'll take a few hours." He smiled as he spoke.
