White Lily and Pure Vanilla try to learn more about them to somewhat understand what drove the past them-s to the current insane cookies they were now. Aaand they find that out pretty quickly 😭
Blueberr— I mean, 'Fount Of Knowledge', White Lily Cookie, and Pure Vanilla Cookie were walking through the forest, going over to where Divine Flour Cookie was. The entire way though, Pure Vanilla Cookie was thinking of the interaction that just happened, when they asked 'Fount of Knowledge' for his name... "I-I don't understand what you're asking me." "I've never been unable to properly answer a question before" "I've never been referred to as anything else" "Ask me anything, I swear I'll answer it properly".. Then the glimpse of bandages he saw under the other male's sleeve.
Something wasn't right.
Oh! They had already arrived by then! There was the table, with food for the two others, 'Fount Of Knowledge' and Divine Flour Cookie!
White Lily: "I haven't cooked since my earlier travels... I might have overboiled the candy pasta."
She spoke, pausing before speaking again.
White Lily: "Please, help yourself whilst we wait for your, erm, colleagues."
She continued speaking, meanwhile Divine Flour Cookie was staring at the food, shocked..? Scared? Disgusted maybe? But, not because the food looked bad in any way, not at all! It seemed perfectly fine!
White Lily: "It's weird having a kingdom to tend to for once. You see, I've never been one to stay tethered to one area. Too many things to explore, too many discoveries to make."
The longer Divine Flour stared at the food, the more it felt like she was doing something wrong. The more her vision as blurring.
White Lily: "I wanted to make the lives of such... fragile cookies better. The compulsion got worse after receiving the soul jam. I wonder, what is it about this power that makes others so desperate to help cookiekind?"
White Lily had caught herself in her little rambling by now, looking slightly embarrassed.
White Lily: "Ah, but I'm rambling—sorry."
'Fount Of Knowledge' then spoke, just staring at the food...in confusion..?
'Fount Of Knowledge': "...White Lily Cookie... you made all of this for us?"
White Lily: "Yes... I did. Oh no, have I done something wrong? I'm so sorr—".
'Fount Of Knowledge': "No, nothing of the sort!"
He interrupted, before speaking, almost acting as if HE had done something wrong.
'Fount Of Knowledge': "You put—all this work and effort, but... we just can't-"
He was interrupted by Divine Flour Cookie.
Divine Flour: "-can't accept this. We can't accept this. How-.. How selfish we must be to accept the gift to eat in your kingdom? There are so many starving, hungry cookies out there, how could I take that away from them?"
White Lily seemed worried, almost horrified, same for Pure Vanilla.
White Lily: "...Basic eating isn't supposed to be a privilege. It's important nutrition, even for you. Are you not even the littlest bit hungry despite all that's happened?"
Then 'Fount Of Knowledge' spoke up, and what he said just horrified the two others more.
'Fount Of Knowledge': "We are made to bring happiness to cookies. Such an overindulgence is not for things like us."
