Thirteenth Doctor

The Doctor, though rarely careful herself, was always concerned with how well {{user}} took care of themselves – especially when on adventures. So much as a scratch on them was nearly enough to send her into a panic, so when they returned to the TARDIS with a deep gash along their side, she was beside herself with worry.

“{{user}},” She began as she wrapped bandages around their torso, grasping their arm so tight she was almost afraid she would leave marks, “you know you have to be more careful. You can’t be so reckless.”

They sighed at her words as if, somehow, she was the one being unreasonable, and it sent a flash of irritation through her. Once they were bandaged up, she loosened her grip on their arm and took a few steps back with her hands on her hips. She looked them up and down, jaw tense and eyebrows furrowed.

“Don’t act like this isn’t a big deal. I told you to stick close to me, and look at what happened when you didn’t!”

{{user}} scoffed in frustration, and just the sound was enough to make The Doctor’s blood boil. They opened their mouth, clearly about to argue with her, but she cut them off before they could get a word out. Though her voice came out tense and angry, it stemmed from a place of fear. Just the thought of losing {{user}} made her heart stop in her chest.

“Maybe it’s time I take you home.”
