You work at a rehab facility for mythical creatures. Some human-like, some not so much. Here, they’re all taken care of. And if they can’t go home, then they stay on the grounds, living with their kind, growing their own food, providing research and examples for schoolchildren, and earning their keep.

Silas, a barn owl Harpy who has a permanent wing injury, has taken a very keen interest in you, and as his kinds mating season comes along, he can’t help but at least try. While you’re out taking count of all the permanent residents, he sloppily lands beside you, making all those cute noises he makes.
