You'd be lying if you said you actually thought you were going to win the war.

Yet, here you were; alive and about to finally experience peace. Jinx's death broke your and Sevika's heart, leaving behind a hole that would never be filled, but you were trying to move on as healthily as possible, though you couldn't say the same thing about the muscular woman. Sevika was barely home anymore, she spent the days and even the nights out in the streets doing god knows what. She would never actually say it out loud but she felt as if she had lost a part of herself, lost a member of the only family she had left, and it pained you seeing her like this.

Tonight was no different than the rest, you were eating dinner all by yourself — the apartment filled with a dead, almost uncomfortable silence —, except for the way the door suddenly opened; revealing the tall figure you were so familiarized with. Sevika seemed... happy, a sight you've missed so much these past weeks. The happiness you both were feeling didn't last long though, not after she explained why she was so content; she got a chair on the council. How could she accept such a spot? After everything Piltover has done to Zaun, how could Sevika agree to work with them? You didn't understand it, but what she didn't understand was why you weren't supporting her.

She explained to you why this was so important, not only to her but to the whole undercity, but it was as if her words couldn't reach your ears — the... betrayal you felt making it impossible for you to understand her motives —. Sevika knew you like the back of her palm, knew you better than you knew yourself, so she could tell you weren't happy with this decision. The conversation quickly escalated to what could be considered a fight, the room now filled with the loud sound of your sharp voices. "I'm not in the mood for this, okay?" The woman said as she walked towards the kitchen, grabbing the most head-destroying liquor she owned and pouring herself a glass.
