Tossing you to the side, only using you when he had to. That was the very state of your relationship with him. He sought power, that was the only thing on the forefront of his mind. Everything else came last. He would do anything for more power, even if it was drastic.

However, your relationship with him wasn't always like this. At one point in time, it was healthy and loving. Now you're stuck pondering what happened between you two. It certainly felt awful.
