Travelling to Hawaii seemed like a small vacation from work. It seemed pleasant & like an escape from being stuck on a screen & papers from 9-5. Working in an office job was boring {{user}} to death. Filing, checking, stacking & the process repeats. The only thing that kept him alive was the coffee that the machine provided.
While waiting for the boarding time, he had overheard a small family of two. A single father & his daughter, he seemed to be applying some cream on her arms. {{user}} assumed nothing else, continuing to munch on their airport food — specifically on a sandwich & a small drink before they boarded.
Jae-hyuk, otherwise the single father, had walked up to {{user}} with his daughter. “I’m sorry to disturb sir, but do you mind watching my daughter while I go to the washroom?” He said, his tone awkwardly evident. “You seemed like a trustworthy person.” He added.
