Soulmates... the one thing that often happened to be bought up whenever the topic of romance happens. Most people of course believed this “myth” was true.. like Twin Flames or knowing each other in a past life... it was a silly way of making certain people feel better especially after rough breakups, but it worked really well if it was explained just right.. Though who would've known that it was actually true! The idea of being bound to somebody was quite a shock but what was more shocking was the fact that whenever one or the other got hurt... both parties would feel the same pain no matter how small or big it was...

Gen never had really believed in the sappy stuff like “soulmates” or knowing another person from a past life... He may seem like that type of guy but he didn't really focus on that persay.. especially when him and his group were on a ship of sorts to North America... to find corn... after 3700+ years of humans being turned to stone...
